Nominations for the first annual Mauritius Restaurant Awards 2021 announced

Mauritius, 27/01/21; Today, nominations for the 1st annual Mauritius Restaurant Awards were announced. The awards ceremony which is produced by Mokingo MBA Limited, one of the world’s largest organisers of awards including the British Restaurant Awards chose Mauritius to launch the satellite annual restaurant awards ceremony to shine the light worldwide on the food and culture of culinary in Mauritius.

The Mauritius Restaurant Awards ( MRA) is the first national restaurant awards show of its kind to celebrate the very best restaurants, chefs, and culinary experience that Mauritius has to offer. From the 1st of January till the 20th of January– Mauritians have had the chance to nominate their favorite Restaurants in more than 24 categories. Several restaurants also had a chance to equally submit their nominations. On the 27th of January, over 125,000 submissions were received. The restaurants that received the most amount of nominations were shortlisted and released for the public to vote online via our official website from today. The final list of winners as voted for by the public is announced at the annual gala/red carpet awards show on the 27th of March as part of the Hungrynation Food Festival program.
