Mauritius Restaurant Awards has announced a partnership with the Hungrynation food festival. The first edition of the epic food festival, Hungrynation Food Festival takes place on the 27th of March 2021, guests are guaranteed an amazing-filled festive forest of culinary action and entertainment.

Mauritius: On the 27th of March 2021, Hungrynation Food Festival will take place at the beautiful nature geared surroundings of the iconic L’Embrasure Le Morne, Mauritius to ring at the beginning of the city’s festive season, and celebrate the best food and drink from Mauritius’s internationally renowned culinary scene.
The people and places that have propelled Mauritius’s restaurant scene into the global limelight will take part in a series of exclusive festive dining events and drinks experiences and cook up never-before-seen dishes including the launch of the 1st annual Mauritius Restaurant Awards with over 550 of the Best Restaurants in Mauritius taking part.
An unmissable culinary experience from Hungrynation will run across the festival, with a fresh line-up of top chefs creating exclusive variations on classic dishes. Plus, Hungrynation’s legendary Fire Pit, complete with fire-breathing pyrotechnic displays and top chefs including winners of the MBA 2020 Best Restaurant and Top Chef nominees, who will be firing up their twists exclusively for the festival.
Guests can also look forward to exclusive ‘HN Specials’, with surprise guest appearances and performances. There is no need for groups to split based on food preferences either, as for the first time every restaurant will offer a vegetarian dish on their menu.
More than 120 artisan producers will line the Grade 1 listed forest festival venue, transforming it into a food and drinks wonderland with dozens of foodie workshops on offer, including alcoholic jam making and interactive cooking tutorials.
EXPERIENCES: Following its launch last year, the Diner’s Club VIP Lounge returns, offering guests the chance to take their Hungrynation festival experience up a notch with exclusive lounge access, special entertainment, and exclusive food offerings.
For the first time, Hungrynation will debut The Campfire: an Instagram haven complete with roaring fire pits, barbecue, and acoustic performances.
